I’m sure everyone are excited to see the latest cars and technology at the upcoming 6th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) this coming September 14-18 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

This year, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), the brain proponent of PIMS, will give motoring aficionados an extended 5-day exhibit, which showcase 17 top car brands including BAIC, BMW, Daewoo Bus, Foton, Honda, Isuzu, Jeep, KIA, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Peugeot, Suzuki, Toyota, and Volkswagen. 

With its theme “Steer The Future”, the event will highlight on the industry’s valuable contributions to the advancement of the country and its economy. To sum-up, here are the cars that are set to launch at PIMS:

  • Starting with BAIC M20. China-brand BAIC vows to wow spectators with the versatility of their MPV M20.
  • German Carmaker BMW launches the all-new 7 Series. After its debut last March, Asian Carmakers Corporation is set to unveil the seventh-generation with a superb technologies and innovation.
  • Daewoo will launch a Bus BS120SN EURO5 “Proudly made in the Philippines”
  • Foton’s first sport utility vehicle “Toplander” 4×4
  • Isuzu brings their upgraded pickup 2017 D-Max 3.0-liter LS
  •  Jeep continues to rule their smallest SUV, the Renegade.
  • All-new Kia Soul 1.6L EX Dual Clutch 7-seater. The unmistakable silhouette of the all-new, Kia Soul 1.6L EX Dual Clutch 7-seater is complemented by a seven-speed DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission) that can handle higher torque outputs and also facilitates faster gear changes.
  • Lexus GS F. This performance sedan is the latest addition to the “F” marque. It has a track-ready performance that will help realize enhanced handling, stability, and ride comfort.

  • The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class. This elegant automobile is armed with the best in driving features and adorned with top-of-the-line accessories for optimum comfort and drive.
  • Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. This new SUV from Mitsubishi flaunts power and refinement – fully embodying the best qualities of a premium SUV.
  • Godzilla is back! The new Nissan GT-R. The legendary supercar formally makes its debut in the country.
