After months of hard fought on who will be the last car standing at COTY, the Car Awards Group, Inc—the proponent and award giving organization of Car-of-the-Year-PH—has officially announced the winner of 2016 Car-of-the-Year and Truck-of-the-Year-Philippines at the One Rockwell Center in Makati City.
It’s now official! The 2016 Car-of-the-Year-Philippines belongs to Honda Civic RS Turbo.
According to CAGI, it was a close call after top contender Mazda 6 SkyActiv Diesel Sedan and Mazda 6 Sports Wagon edge the second and third number of votes. But as Duncan McCloud of Highlander famous quote “There can only be One”, Honda proves to be back on the business! And yes, the Civic is back!
Meanwhile, the 2016 Truck-of-the-Year (TOTY) was awarded to Isuzu D-Max 3.0-liter.
Congratulations to Honda and Isuzu for winning COTY and TOTY-PH.
Before announcing the much awaited COTY and TOTY-PH awards, CAGI also awarded category winners.
