Japanese car brand Suzuki has recently bagged two best-in-class category awards at the recently concluded 2016 Car-of-the-Year-Philippines held at the One Rockwell Tower in Makati City.

The two category awards were Best in Subcompact Car (from their Suzuki Ciaz GL 1.4-liter M/T) and the newly added Best in Commercial Utility (from their Suzuki Super Carry Utility Van).

After the official launch of Ciaz last April, the car receives a lot of praise and admiration to the motoring public. Its unique size (with measurement of 4,490 mm long and 1,730 mm width) and competitive entry-level pricing of P738,000, makes the car a notch higher against its all B-segment rivals.

Engine-wise, the Ciaz shares similar with the Ertiga. It is powered by a 1.4-liter Inline-4 VVT engine that can boost an impressive 92 ps at 6,000 rpm and 130 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.

Meanwhile, for those who wanted to start their business, the Suzuki Super Carry might fits for you. The Super Carry offers best cargo loading with an area of 3.25 sqm and a maximum capacity of 735 kg.

Its engine is equipped with 793-cc, 2-cylinder, Euro-4 compliant turbo diesel engine that produces 32 hp at 3,500 rpm and torque of 75 Nm at 2,000 rpm—making the vehicle the most economical in its class.

The all-new Super Carry is available in the following variants—Super Carry Truck at P479,000; Super Utility Van (UV) at P565,000; Super Carry Cargo Van (CV) at P529,000; Super Carry Jeepney Body (JB) at P550,000; and APV Utility Van w/ Dual Aircon (UV) at P630,000.
