Isuzu Cebu, Inc, a franchised dealer of Isuzu commercial vehicles and wholly-owned by Ayala Corporation, recently support Asian Race Finalist University of San Carlos Team Lahutay at the 2017 Shell Eco-Marathon, held at the Clark International Speedway in Mabalacat, Pampanga.
The Shell Eco-Marathon is an annual competition organized by Shell, in which young engineers students from across the globe, are challenge to build, design and drive the most energy-efficient cars. After Shell Eco-marathon Asia took place in Manila for three years before moving to Singapore, Shell Eco-marathon comes back to the country as a Challenger event with 30 participating teams who will take to the track to battle for ultimate energy efficiency.
As part of its CSR program, Isuzu Cebu, Inc supports USC’s Team Lahutay to promote innovation and improve fuel efficiency. Isuzu Cebu Inc. operates five (5) dealerships in the Visayas area and part of Isuzu Automotive Dealership Inc (IADI). IADI is the biggest in the Isuzu Philippines Corp network.
Last year, the group took third place at the Asian leg of the competition.
