The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) reported another impressive numbers in first quarter sales with 23-percent increase or 76,473 units. While the Association of Vehicle Importers and Distributors (AVID) set another high note of 10-percent increase, selling 23,312 units. This leads to a positive feedback for car manufacturers.

As the car industry sustained its growth momentum, Pilipinas Taj Autogroup, Inc. (PTAJ), the exclusive distributor Tata Motors in the country, is further strengthening its local presence by adding another network dealership outside Metro Manila.

In partnership with Auto 10 Trade and Services, PTAJ recently held a ground-breaking ceremony to mark its expansion of dealership in Isabela province.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Cordon Isabela Mayor Lynn Zuniega; PTAJ President Cresencio “Jon” Fernandez, Jr; Auto 10 Trade and Services General Manager Neil Carlo Uy Federizo; Vehicle Sales Manager Rochelle Raquepo; Technical and Engineering Division Head Engr. Ramil Mendoza; Sales and Marketing Division Head Rico Macalintal; and Vehicle Sales Consultants Jun Deri and Johny Asuncion.

Tata dealership in Isabela is set to open on the third quarter of this year. Located at NCF Prime Compound, National Highway, Purok 2, Brgy. Taringsing, Cordon, Isabela, the dealership offers full service and spare parts, along with new vehicle sales. The company also conducted a presentation to the local truckers and banks.
