Two of the top dealers of Chevrolet Philippines were among the 116 dealers from 13 markets recently named GM International (GMI) Grandmasters during the annual program in New York City.

The winners from the Philippines were Chevrolet Alabang, named Metro Manila Dealer of the Year and was represented by Felix K. Limcaoco, Rene K. Limcaoco, Tey Sornet, and Carlo Montemayor; Meanwhile, Chevrolet Iloilo were also awarded with Regional Dealer of the Year and was represented by Jan Andrew Po and Iris Chua Po. Chevrolet Philippines–The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), the exclusive distributor of Chevrolet automobiles and parts in the country, was represented by Lyn Buena, Senior Vice President and Director for Marketing Services of TCCCI.

The GMI Grandmasters was created to reward GM’s best of the best dealers in the region for their excellence. Winners were selected based on vehicle and parts sales, service, customer satisfaction and facility standards. They were judged on both the quantity and the quality of their operations. Participants included the highest-performing dealers were Australia and New Zealand, the Middle East, Korea, Israel, Japan and Southeast Asia.

One of the best experience is all dealers were able to view Cadillac’s award-winning lineup, including the CT6, XT5, CTS and ATS.

Mike SimcoeGM Vice President of Global Design, was the special speaker who came from Detroit to personally show the dealers the cutting-edge Chevrolet Bolt EV, new Chevrolet Cruze, GMC Terrain and new Chevrolet Traverse. Simcoe also introduced Maven–GM’s flexible mobility platform that is offering multiple car-sharing products for consumers and businesses.

Meanwhile, Gary PlayerGeneral Directors for SEA Distributor Sales Operations, expressed his admiration to the Philippine dealer contingents. “Congratulations to our dealers from Philippines. You have been instrumental in the growth of GM and Chevrolet in Philippines. You have set a great example for your fellow dealers, and we are proud to have each of you as a partner.”
