Columbian Autocar Corporation (CAC), the exclusive distributor of Kia vehicles in the country, recently launched its third-generation and company’s bestselling car, the Kia Picanto.

The all-new Picanto, which boast a bolder and new exterior design, featured from its new GT-Line trim model. Quite noticeable is the signature tiger-nose grille, which now extends up to the headlights, providing a similarity to its siblings, the Kia Rio and the Forte. It also has more assertive stance with bolder body lines. Thanks to its added 15 mm overall length.

Inside is a different story. It has a new modernized and refined interior. The new materials give an added sense of quality for the occupants. The horizontal design is meant to highlight the increase in cabin space. The larger interior capacity can also be noticed all around the vehicle. Headroom, legroom and also shoulder room has been improved in the latest model.

 

Engine-wise, the all-new Picanto is equipped with 1.2-liter Kappa 4-cylinder engine with multi-point injection (MPI) that provides 84 ps and 121 Nm of torque. You can either choose from 4-speed automatic transmission or 5-speed manual transmission.

The all-new Kia Picanto is priced at P625,000 for the manual transmission and P685,000 for the automatic variant.
