The Los Angeles Auto Show, which is considered as the biggest car show in North America, has officially opened its door to the motoring public last December 1 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The 10-day annual car show, which is schedule from December 1 to 10, showcased 1,000 vehicles from consumer-centric cars, customized and exotics, and electric vehicles.

Similar to last year event, AutoMobility LA serve as a platform for product unveiling which focused on technology. The event also serves as venue to discuss the most pressing issues surrounding the future of transportation.

This year, global vehicle reveals scheduled for AutoMobility LA include models by leading automakers such as General Motors, INFINITI, Lexus, Lincoln and Toyota. German giants BMW and Mercedes-Benz are also planning for significant world and North American premieres at AutoMobility LA.

Taking the spotlight is Chevrolet’s newly unveiled coupe and convertible version Corvette ZR1, which is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine.

German car manufacturer BMW, meanwhile, also took the center stage by displaying their much-awaited roofless BMW i8 sports hybrid car roadster. According to BMW, the car is combination of electric and turbocharged 3-cylinder gasoline engine that can produce a powerful 357 horsepower. The German car brand also feature the M3 CS and the X7 Concept SUV.

 

Some of the coolest cars at the 2017 LA Auto Show include Korean car brand crossover Kona (US-specs); luxury vehicle division of Nissan Infiniti QX50 and QX80; Jaguar’s smaller SUV E-Pace and electric crossover i-Pace; american brand Jeep Wrangler; Land Rover SVX; Lexus RX L; US brand Lincoln; Mazda 6 facelift; Mercedes Benz CLS;  Mini Cooper Electric Concept EV; Porsche 718 Cayman, 718 Porsche Boxster GTS; and 911 Carrera T; Subaru Ascent; Toyota FT-AC; and Volvo XC40.
