Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) continues to dominate the local truck market, capturing a commanding 43% market share from January to April, according to combined data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. (TMA). With 1,592 units sold in just the first four months of 2025, IPC reinforces its position as the most trusted truck brand in the Philippines—maintaining market leadership for an impressive 25 consecutive years.
“Our continued leadership in the truck market reflects the brand’s unwavering commitment to delivering vehicles that truly work for our customers. Owning an Isuzu truck means investing in a product that is proven to last longer, perform more efficiently, and cost less to maintain over time. Backed by our nationwide aftersales support, Isuzu trucks give businesses a clear edge – helping them stay competitive, reduce downtime, and maximize profitability,” said IPC President Mikio Tsukui.
Best-Selling Truck Lineup and Business Solutions
Leading the charge, the Isuzu N-Series posted 905 units sold, marking a 7.2% growth compared to the same period in 2024. Its continued popularity among logistics and delivery businesses nationwide stems from its versatility and ease of use—especially with the Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT) option, perfect for navigating congested urban environments.
Close behind, Isuzu’s medium-duty trucks recorded 545 units sold, a 2.4% year-on-year increase. Favored for long-haul routes, these trucks offer adaptable body applications and enhanced driver safety features.
Heavy-duty trucks saw an impressive 59% jump from last year, with 142 units sold—mostly from the newly launched S&E Series. This surge is fueled by growing infrastructure projects and local government support. Equipped with Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC) and an advanced instrument cluster featuring driver coaching, these trucks raise the bar in safety and operational efficiency.
