ACMobility, the Philippines’ leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions and infrastructure, has unveiled its most advanced charging stations in Makati City—featuring cutting-edge 240 kW SuperFast and 480 kW UltraFast chargers.

Developed in partnership with the Makati Commercial Estate Association (MACEA) and Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI), the new high-performance chargers are now live at the Corinthians Carpark, with the Leviste Carpark set to go online soon. This launch further establishes Makati as a key hub in ACMobility’s rapidly expanding nationwide EV charging network.

“Makati has been one of the leading runners in the country when it comes to sustainability. It is also a bustling business and residential district, which altogether makes it the perfect home for our fastest EV chargers yet,” said Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure of ACMobility. “With this new offering at the heart of the city, we’re making it easier for more drivers, businesses, families, and communities to access faster and convenient
EV charging, right where they need it.”

Engineering the Nation’s Fastest Charging Experience

The new Corinthians Carpark station sets a national benchmark with nine DC CCS2 slots, including four 240 kW SuperFast chargers (each with dual guns) and one 480 kW UltraFast charger—the fastest in the country. These chargers can power compatible EVs in as little as 10–15 minutes, depending on battery size and conditions. Built with 1000-amp air-cooled cables, the system is optimized for both high performance and future scalability. A dedicated pull-through bay also accommodates larger EVs and minibuses for added convenience.

The station is fully integrated with Evro, ACMobility’s all-in-one EV app that streamlines the entire charging experience—from locating chargers and starting sessions, to tracking real-time status and making secure, cashless payments. Evro also notifies users about network updates, promos, and new station launches—making it a must-have for every Filipino EV driver.

Charging is priced at ₱35/kWh, with membership plans offering savings of up to 20%.

To extend fast-charging access beyond fixed locations, ACMobility has also launched Power-on-Wheels (POW)—a fleet of mobile DC fast chargers. POW is now serving key areas in Makati, Taguig, and Mandaluyong, with more cities to follow, including Muntinlupa, Pasay, Pasig, Manila, San Juan, and Quezon City. This ensures reliable, on-demand charging even in areas where permanent infrastructure is still underway.

Makati: The Most Electrified City in ACMobility’s Network

Makati currently leads ACMobility’s nationwide network as the most electrified city, boasting 70 active EV charging points across 16 locations—a number set to grow to 100 charging points in 22 locations by the end of 2025. This expansion is part of ACMobility’s broader goal of deploying over 700 charge points nationwide by year-end, reinforcing its leadership in clean urban transport and its pivotal role in the country’s EV infrastructure.

In a major sustainability milestone, every charging session at the Corinthians Carpark Station is powered by 100% renewable energy through a partnership with ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES), the Ayala Group’s renewable energy arm. This marks ACMobility’s first direct collaboration with ACEN RES, opening doors to future joint initiatives as the EV network continues to expand.

This clean energy integration is made possible via the Department of Energy’s Green Energy Option Program (GEOP), allowing EV drivers to charge using solar, wind, and geothermal energy—without the need for on-site installations. The initiative supports the Philippines’ national target of 35% renewable energy in the power mix by 2030.

Strengthening the Philippine EV Spine

The launch of the Makati EV Charging Network forms a key part of ACMobility’s vision to build the Philippine EV Spine—a comprehensive, nationwide fast-charging network designed to enable large-scale EV adoption. As of May 2025, ACMobility operates over 90 charging locations across the country, with 30+ additional sites set to go live by June.

“Each new station—whether in a mall, office, condo, or roadside—reinforces the Philippine EV Spine, connecting communities and empowering Filipinos to drive electric, anywhere, anytime. We are building this nationwide backbone of clean transport to make electric mobility seamless, reliable, and truly accessible to all,” added Buencamino.
