Every year, Ford Philippines is honoring men and women for their excellence in motoring journalism via Henry Ford Awards (HFA).
Now on its 17th year, Henry Ford Awards (HFA) continues to recognize excellence in automotive journalism, honoring the work of the country’s esteemed roster of motoring journalists.
Recently, the American car brand has announced its set of winners at The Marquis Events Place in Bonifacio Global City.
This year, HFA awarded 16 winners from total of 210 entries that were submitted by members of the print, online, and broadcast media whose stories, columns, photographs, and videos have collectively taken the Philippine automotive industry to a whole new level.

Here are the list of winners in the print category which include Mariano Jose Tamayo of Top Gear Philippines for Automotive Print Feature; Patrick Everett Tadeo of Carmudi Magazine Philippines for Automotive Column; Eric Tipan of Carmudi Magazine Philippines for Automotive Print Lifestyle Feature; Jerel Fajardo of C! Magazine for Published Photograph; and Kristoffer Lim of AutoCar Philippines for Automotive Green Feature.
On the online category, bringing home trophies are Froilan Victor Bacungan, Jr. of CNN Philippines for Automotive Online Feature; PJ Caña of Esquiremag.ph for Automotive Online Lifestyle Feature; Iñigo Roces of AutoIndustriya.com for Automotive Road Safety Feature; Vince Christian Pornelos of AutoIndustriya.com for Smart Technology Feature; Mark Francis Jesalva of TopGear.com.ph for Automotive Video Feature; and Mariano Jose Tamayo of TopGear.com.ph for Automotive Industry Feature.
Special category winners were Maria Cecilia Carpena of TopGear.com.ph for Ford Automotive Feature; Autodeal.com.ph for Ford Automotive Video Feature; Jerel Fajardo of C! Magazine for Ford Published Photograph; and Ronald Delos Reyes of BusinessMirror for Ford ‘Go Further’ Feature.
For the Best Motoring Section for Broadsheet, the award were given to Philippine Daily Inquirer.
