Not sure if you’ve heard about Deestone tires. Well, its a Thailand-made tires distributed by Fuel Autotek Philippines. 

Recently, the company has announced its partnership with Rainforest Challenge (RFC) as official tire sponsor that will allow to provide RFC Philippine Team support with Deestone Mud Clawer tires fitted on two support crew vehicles (one Land Rover Discovery and Land Rover Defender). The Support crews will carry vital supplies from vehicle parts and necessities during the actual grand finale race, which will be held in Malaysia on November 23 to December 5.  

The company will also provide tire technical training and assistance to the RFC Philippine Team which will be held in Clark, Pampanga on July.

Meanwhile, Robby Consunji, RFC PH Representative and President of Land Rover Club of the Philippines said: “It’s going to be tough and exciting adventure race for the Philippine Team. Every year, we look forward and prepared for this kind of adventure.”

“Our race seeks to bring to the Philippines the off road and winch race conditions encountered in Malaysia, such as monsoon rain, deep water, slippery mud, rocks, steep slopes and more; it will be complexed by camping conditions and night special stages. It will be the toughest off-road challenge in the country for the off-road adventure racers,” explained Consunji.  

Launched in Malaysia in 1997, RFC has attracted participants and media from around the world. It is a tough event for 4×4 enthusiasts who dream of taking on a jungle adventure with all its hardship, endurance and extremities.
