Last week, Ford Philippines made another sweeter vengeance to the motoring public with the launched of two of its best-selling portfolio: the all-new Expedition and the upgraded Mustang.

While the two offers different unique selling proposition, the all-new Expedition provides more of a standing ovation to the crowd.

According to Ford PH, the 2018 Expedition will be coming from North America. So, in general, this full-size SUV is entirely completely-built-up (CBU) units.

The fully boxed high strength steel frame and all-aluminum-alloy body are the best addition of the new Expedition, which has been engineered with advanced materials that helps the vehicle to be more lightweight in its class. Thus, giving customers a more fuel-efficient driving experience.

It also comes with a raised power dome hood, which adds to the daring stance of the vehicle, followed by a body colored front bumper with fog lamps. At the back, the Expedition features an accent trim, followed by new LED tail lamps.

On the side are body-colored door handles with chrome inserts, chrome roof rack side rails, and 20-inch ultra-bright machined aluminum mags with tarnished dark-painted pockets, completing the Expedition’s bold design.

Underneath this powerful SUV is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that provides a decent 375 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 470 lb-ft torque at 3,500 rpm. One of the best qualities of the Expedition is that when you are trapped on traffic. It has an Auto Start-Stop Technology that switch off automatically when the vehicle comes to a stopped.

Standard safety features includes Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with trailer coverage and cross-traffic alert, Forward Sensing System, Reverse Sensing System, and Traction Control, among others.

For those who wanted to purchase this vehicle, you can either choose between the 4WD Limited MAX (with bucket seats) at P4.358-million or the 4WD Limited MAX at P4.258-million. An additional P100,000 difference for that single bucket seat. This latest model might just have hit the spot!
