Starting next week, the country’s largest oil refiner and marketer Petron is preparing its annual effort to help motorists on roadside assistance for Holy Week through their program, Petron Lakbay Alalay.
The Lakbay Alalay is the country’s longest running motorist roadside assistance Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of Petron that caters to the needs of every Filipino motorists traveling on the road.
This year, Petron Lakbay Alalay pit stops will have 11 stations in Luzon, and 6 stations in Visayas and Mindanao.
More than helping out fellow motorists on the road, the company also displays dedication in helping out the communities through their volunteerism work, on which some employees will spend time to offer emergency assistance to motorists with car problems like overheating, flat tires, and other car concerns. The group of Petron employee-volunteers are schedule from April 17 to 21.
The participating Petron service stations and Car Care Centers will offer free safety checks to ensure that vehicles are roadworthy and properly maintained. And since traveling can cause drivers fatigue, Petron makes sure that you can relieve your stress-out on a physical travel by way of a free 15-minute reinvigorating massage. This can ease those tired muscles and, if necessary, a free medical assistance.
Of course, family members won’t get left out as Petron prepares road safety games with fun prizes while learning how to drive safely.
