This summer, Sunshine Television (STV), the producer of longest motoring TV show Motoring Today and Auto Focus, in partnership with independent oil firm Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, is staging once again its annual activity for car buyers called “Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival.”
Car manufacturers like GAC Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, MG, Mitsubishi, Nissan, SsangYong, Subaru, Suzuki, and Toyota will display and showcase their latest model line-ups offering test drives to consumers who are looking to buy a brand new vehicle.
To be held at the SM Mall of Asia Concert grounds on May 2 to 5, the 2019 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival is set-up to be a veritable one-stop shop for prospective car buyers and a must-visit event for die-hard car buffs. A wide range of competing standard and luxury-premium models will be on display and be made available for test drives.
Ray Butch Gamboa, the well-respected pioneer of local motoring media and Chairman and CEO of STV, said, “We have been holding events of this type since 2005 not only for the benefit of local manufacturers and distributors, but even more so for the general motoring and car buying public. Buying a car and selecting a particular model suited to one’s individual purpose, preference, and budget, can actually be a long-winded process.”
Gamboa further explained, “Practically everything one has to do to buy a model of choice can conveniently be done at the festival. No more hopping from one dealer showroom to another because all the exhibiting brands will only be a few steps from one another.”
The event will be open from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. And folks, don’t worry on where to park your car, there are spacious parking available alongside the venue. Test drive participants can also get the chance to win prizes from select exhibitors. Best of all, admission to the public is free!
