Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), the country’s leading assembler and distributor of trucks, turned over to Excelsior Custom Brokerage a brand-new Isuzu EXR QL Tractor Head at the latter’s main office in Imus, Cavite City.

To date, this has been Excelsior’s second acquisition of Isuzu trucks. The first was in 2018 when Excelsior bought an Isuzu EXR52 F Tractor Head. Both purchases were facilitated by the Isuzu Alabang dealership.

Present during the turnover ceremony were Isuzu Alabang Sales Executive Rogielyn Oyco and Sales Manager Lucy Vergara, IPC Dealer Sales A Section Head Danny Nunez, Excelsior President Victor Hermosa and Excelsior VP for Finance Marry Ann Hermosa.

Excelsior Custom Brokerage, which has been in the international freight forwarding, custom brokerage, and trucking business for over 15 years, had been traditionally using Isuzubranded surplus units until it decided to re-fleet with brand new trucks starting in 2018.

Excelsior President Victor Hermosa, said, “In order to achieve our mission and vision to provide clients with peace of mind in their shipments, and thus become an enduring great company in the industry providing exceptional, time-conscious, and individualized customer service, we must be creating a seamless continuity of freight transportation from warehouse to its designated endpoint. This can be best achieved when we use the most reliable and most enduring trucks. That’s why we decided to gradually replace our Isuzu surplus trucks with brand-new ones.”

He added that using brand new Isuzu trucks has enabled Excelsior to meet all its delivery requirements, with shipments arriving in the best condition possible in every destination, as the new trucks themselves require minimal downtime for their upkeep.
