China-based Tire maker Cheng Shin Tire (CST), which sells its products under Maxxis brand, has unveiled today five of its latest passenger and off-road tires at the Sheraton Manila Hotel in Pasay City.
According to CST, the launching of brand’s line-up marks the start of its expansion in Philippine market. “Innovation is at the heart of CST. We are always on the lookout for new developments and changes in the country’s usage conditions to improve the products and service we offer to the market. This new set of tires is just the beginning of our plan for the Philippine market, especially now that the demand for high-quality tires continues to rise,” said Jaybee Atanacio, CST Tires Director of Sales and Business Development.

CST passenger car radial line-up are Parkour PK01, Medallion MD-A1, and Marquis MR61. All tires are designed to deliver improved performance and timeless style. Meanwhile, CST’s Off-road tires are Sahara CS901/900, Sahara CS912, Sahara A/T II, and Sahara M/T II. All are designed for long drives, heavy loads and optimum off-road performance. It features a reduced tread pattern void ratio, square profile design, flat contact patch and serrated edges.
The Sahara MT II boasts improved mud dispersal, maximized sidewall traction and high puncture resistance.
