According to Volkswagen, the warranty extension provides vehicle owners an opportunity to avail the after-sales privileges covered by their vehicle warranties once the dealerships are allowed to reopen and accept customers under the general community quarantine (GCQ) guidelines.
And who is covered by the warranty? Well, these are vehicles (passenger and commercial) sold and expiring between March 1 to 31, 2020. Thus, the warranty extension now runs from June 1 to August 31.
