The local unit of Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation has officially launched the updated locally assembled passenger car—the Toyota Vios.

According to Toyota Motor Philippines, the new Vios has improved modern design debuted by the global mobility company and comes to lead the resurgence of the local auto industry by responding to the Filipinos’ need for quality, efficient, and safe mode of transportation.

Launched via online program, the new Vios is expected to continue its streak as the Philippines top-selling car—a record it has been holding for more than a decade now.

In a press statement, Atsuhiro Okamoto, President of TMP, said, “It was only last month that we had the digital launch of the new Wigo, and I thank you all for making it a success. Toyota moves forward with efforts to adjust to this new normal and your continued support shows that we move forward and

Now made even better to adapt to the new mobility landscape, the New Vios moves forward, providing reliability, durability, and affordability it is known for since its debut in the Philippine market in 2003.

“You can count on TMP to stay true to our promise of making the world’s best Vios, and in the process, helping the economy, and providing livelihood to thousands of Filipino families,” explained Okamoto.
