The contest will run from now to December 2022
Harley-Davidson has announced the return of the Chapter of the Year contest across the Asia Emerging Markets (AEM). The contest is organized with the aim of increasing engagement amongst the 9000-member strong Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) community and Harley-Davidson dealers in AEM, as well as increase renewals within H.O.G. International and the Chapter. More than 50 chapters are expected to participate in a drive to increase riding and engagement at their local level and be named the best Chapter in AEM. The contest will run from July 1 till December 31, 2022.
Riding on the success of its first Chapter of the Year contest, which was held between July to December 2021 in Thailand, Harley-Davidson is now expanding the contest to other markets, including Thailand, South Korea, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau.
The winners of the 2021 Thailand Chapter of the Year were:
- Chapter of the Year Winner: Richco Harley-Davidson
- Chapter of the Year Runner Up: AAS Harley-Davidson Bangkok,
- Chapter Manager of the Year Winner: Mr. Weerawut Thanyawat (Aui) and
- Chapter Manager of the Year Runner Up: Chi-Tipat Anantasomboom.

Chapters will be scored based on several categories including the number of monthly rides, rally attendance and partnerships, and riders will be invited to participate in specific challenges and win exclusive patches, with their engagement contributing to their Chapters’ score. The winners will be announced online and subsequently awarded in person at a major H.O.G. event in 2023.
The winners of the contest will receive an honorary plaque with the title of Chapter of the Year, while individual riders will receive Chapter of the Year patches, as well as plaque awards. Winners of individual categories such as Chapter Manager of the Year will receive individual trophies, and the winning chapter will be featured on the coveted Wall of Fame.
