Oil Giant Player Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation continues to improve customers’ journey by providing an evolving range of quality fuels—the new Shell V-Power.

According to Shell, the new and improved formulation of Shell V-Power cleans 100-percent of vital engine parts. It prevents a future build-up of performance-robbing deposits that accumulate in engines with prolonged use of ordinary fuels. Designed for both gasoline and diesel,  the new V-Power has been created through research by scientists over the course of five years, leveraging their expert knowledge and long-term heritage in innovation.

Manager for Mobility Randy Del Valle; and Shell Fuels Scientist for Asia Pacific Andreas Schaefer.

Andreas Schaefer, Shell Fuels Scientist, said, “Vehicle manufacturers strive to increase modern vehicles’ performance and efficiency. More efficient engines require fuels to perform under tougher operating conditions, exposing them to gunk build-up and corrosion over time. With that in mind, Shell V-Power has been developed to work even more effectively in challenging conditions.”

We are always looking to ensure we deliver our best-ever products and services for our customers. That’s why we are proud to launch the new and improved Shell V-Power to help our customers make the most of their journeys on the road,” said Pilipinas Shell Head of Mobility Marketing Arvin Obmerga.

The new and improved Shell V-Power launch reflects Shell’s commitment to developing traditional fuels to help drivers improve their engine performance and efficiency while investing in alternatives, such as charging infrastructure for EVs. Shell V-Power is generally compatible with any gasoline or diesel engine vehicle, whether cold or not. It is also suitable for motorcycles.

The question is: Can you mix Shell V-Power with regular fuel when gassing up? According to Shell, you can mix it as long as you follow your vehicle’s manual’s minimum research octane number (RON) requirements. Shell V-Power was first introduced in Hong Kong over 20 years ago and became one of the best-selling premium fuels in the world.
